Stretching across the horizon, I saw the Great Smoky Mountains. I had set aside the weekend to hike up English Mountain and relax in nature. Each of the previous weekends was full of schoolwork and homework. Now I was going to go. I was so happy to ignore the phone calls and scheduled meetings. When I got to the base of the mountain, however, I was told that no one is allowed to hike alone. I was disappointed to hear that I couldn't hike by myself. I decided to take a nap and enjoy the moment a little. As I was lying there, I suddenly realized something. How could I lie around all afternoon instead of following my dreams?
