For the past three years, I have been in the Link Crew program dedicated to ensuring all Freshmen are surpassing their academics and are welcomed to their first year in high school. In the beginning of summer, a freshman orientation has been held. During that day, I was given a list around twenty underclassmen whom I was to be responsible for the entire school year, including that very day when I met them at orientation. During orientation, I guided the students into a classroom to conduct skits with a combination of icebreaker activities setting a goal for each and every student to feel welcomed to Lynwood High School. On this day, my group had to remember each other's names. Then, I provided them with a tour to show them a layout of new campus
