The New Orlean Saints was founded by John W. Mecom, Jr. and David Dixon, But they could of not all done it by themselves. Where would they get their money for this football team to build a stadium, and exercise equipment, and everything a football team needs and most of all where would their support help from, and besides they couldn't afford everything by themselves. I first met John and David when they walked in my bookstore, they wanted books over financial investments and books about football. As being a wealthy person myself I said “What are you trying to invest in” John then said “Well we're trying to form a football team, as we would be the first Football team in New Orleans”. I had liked the sound of him saying “The first ever football team”, because I loved being first at everything.…show more content… Then they both said “oh my! That would be delightful, we've been looking to invest into a wise person for a long time, and we have finally found someone” and so it began. John and David then said “Now all I need is to find football players”. Well being the smart person I am, called my dad for I knew he and his friends loved playing football for fun, I always told him he needed to be on a football team since he was so good, but he said there were no footballs teams in New Orleans, so this would be just perfect. I gotten off the phone and said there you have 11 football players now. They were as shocked i was to find that many football players in under one minute. What will be the team name? The name "Saints" is an allusion to November 1 being All Saints Day in the Catholic
