Without a doubt, life takes the role of being the ultimate roller coaster. A roller coaster with endless ups and downs. A roller coaster that we are stuck on for the rest of our lives. A roller coaster with multiple heartbreaking and heartwarming emotions.In high school, students hit both high and lows at what feels like to be at extremes.Personally, high school has taught me how drastic highs and lows can be. Students are expected to take large amounts of pride in academics, sports, and clubs.I found the greatest peak of my High School years in the pride of working for my own car.

I also spent a ridiculous amount of time in car lots. Apparently, when you have 4,000 dollars your selection is very limited. It felt as if I would never find the perfect car. Although the search felt endless, my hard work would soon pay off. One day while searching through a car website, a black Grand Am appeared. Quickly, I rushed to call the owner. Excitement overwhelmed me when the seller and I made plans to meet. The car sat there clean and shinny. I couldn't wait to get my hands on that black beauty. She ran great, had low miles, and looked extremely clean. Moments later I would make her my first car.
Being able to work for something so important gave me a feeling of accomplishment. The moment that all my hard work paid off had become an amazing peek during my high school years. I proved to myself that with hard work I can accomplish anything I set my mind to. For most high school kids there peaks are good grades, success in sports, or even being part of a club. However, my peak would be one of work ethic. One I will carry into the rest of my life. One day my high school grades will no longer matter, the track meets I ran in will be a blur, and the STUCCO meetings I sat through will have almost completely vanished from my memory. The drive and work ethic I strive for however, will always be an essential part of my future career and
