The Underworld is a strange place - but it is my home. I've gotten used to the screams in the Fields of Punishment and the cries for help, but I still haven't been able to overcome the deathly sense of loneliness. A wise mortal once said that money cannot buy happiness, and there is a heap of truth to that. Even with mountains of gold, diamonds, and all the other precious rocks from the Earth, I still have nothing. No sense of pride, nor accomplishment – just an empty, lonely feeling.

As I was sitting on my throne of gems and bones debating my loneliness, I felt a sudden disturbance in the earth - perhaps, with some small chance, I could find something to help me. Now I had never been much for greenery myself, but there was some sort of pleasant feeling that swept over me - a sense of beauty, despite the bright, burning light I received from the sun. That's when I noticed her; a beautiful girl picking flowers. I spent some time convincing her to come with me, telling her about the gems and flowers she could enjoy at my palace.
We rode on until we reached the beautiful large columns that houses a gate - the entrance to the Underworld. The girl, "Proserpina" as she told me, noticed my guard dog Cerberus.
"Will the dog bite me?" the young, beautiful girl asked, later calling my faithful pup "ugly".
"O, never fear," I told her, attempting to comfort her. "He never harms people, unless they try to enter my dominions without being sent for, or to get away when I wish to keep them here. Down, Cerberus! Now, my pretty Proserpina, we will drive
