Veritas means truth, and who wouldn’t want to find and be a part of the truth. We are all just trying to understand the truth. We won’t find this truth until we find God. Our whole purpose here on Earth is to enjoy, but also to live as God desires. The main goal of all of our lives should be to each eternal life. It can sometimes be difficult to live a virtuous life, but with the help of good teachers and lessons, we can learn. God gives us all gifts and a path to follow, and we must share those gifts to properly follow the path. I think that my gifts are wisdom, kindness, and responsibility. The way I see God’s path for me is to teach other’s of my faith using all my gifts.
I want join Veritas because I see it as one of the steps I need…show more content… I just went on my Confirmation retreat so I feel enlightened about God’s love. I have always had a deep faith because I am a Cradle Catholic. My dad isn’t religious, but my mom is and has always taught me to love God. I go to Mass every Sunday and love it. I think it is so amazing that every week I have to opportunity to let God into my life. I am very familiar with all the information Catholics are “supposed” to know, but faith isn’t just getting 100% on every religion test. It does help to know as much as you can about your religion, but that isn’t all God wants. God doesn’t just want “religion robots”, He wants us truly believe in Him. Many people may not even know the full 10 Commandments, yet can be following them better than someone who…show more content… Teaching people is a great way to also learn. We get to lead and also go on retreats that will guide me closer to God. It excites me to know that I have the chance to be a part of a team of true leaders. My Confirmation teacher recently told me that a true leader leads people to God and that’s exactly what I want to do. In Veritas I could also help in Mass or during liturgies that may make realize new parts of my faith. I think Veritas will take me on new roads to the ultimate destination of finding my purpose. God wants all people to know of His unconditional love and want to do my best to spread
