Throughout my athletic career at Vista Ridge, I’ve done physical rehabilitation for various injuries; as such I’ve memorized our schools rehabilitation programs and exercises. So when I was pulled out of cross country due to a serious injury, I took the opportunity to help our school's athletic trainer, Mrs. Clayton. I offered to teach other athletes rehab exercises so she could focus on getting others out to practice. From there I began to stretch and roll out athlete’s muscles, as well as following up on healed athletes. Eventually I was directing the training room and helping any athlete I could.
