For the past 3 years, I have been involved with the Boys and Girls club and it has honestly been one of the best experiences of my life. I first began to go to the Boys and Girls club when I was entering my freshman year of high school. Everyone can relate, it is an awkward transition from Middle school. I had to make new friends in a new environment. This was made easier when I started to go to the Boys and Girls club during the summer. Knowing that high school would bring out new elements of myself that I hadn’t realized before, I wanted to see what I could accomplish. These new elements I realized were a sense of responsibility and integrity. Volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club helped me realize the advantages of helping in the community
