A fight will spark a team and give them a little more energy in a game most of the time. It is also entertaining for the fans. If fighting ever got banned, it would mean that some star players who are known for scoring and being a key player for their team would become less of an impact player. If fighting was eliminated, good teams would falter and lose games. Fighting keeps the game clean by not allowing dirty players, also known as pests, to take cheap shots at opposing players without facing consequences.
