You are not a coward for asking for help, you simply just want to improve something you are not exactly sure how to go about doing it. Work hard through the tough times, and don’t let yourself down. Not only has this lesson applied to softball and volleyball, but in real life situations as well. This lesson has motivated me to do better in school, when the workload is big and requires more time than available to you, prioritize. Do not push off work, take the things that are the most important and do them to the best of your ability. If you do not understand something on the homework that was given, or are lost and confused in class, ask for help so you can succeed in the future, and continue on your path. This lesson has helped me a lot in softball because without the hitting slumps, mechanics, personal lessons with my coach, and staying late to work on my skills I would not be where I am today. This lesson taught me to try my hardest always, and to never give up.
