Have you ever been told you’re not old enough to do something but you think you are?like for example you’re not old enough to drink or maybe you’re not old to drive.well people say this to you for a reason. They say it to you because they care about you and they do not want you getting hurt. If they did not care about you they would not be stop you from doing something that can hurt you like driving at 16. I think that should change because teens are not fully developed until at least age 25. I think if you can control how much you drink you should be able to drink at least at the age 20 but that is only what i think. If you over drink and get in a car crash i think you should not be drinking …show more content…
So now I know why my mom does not want me to be in a relationship: because it hurts. Most guys my age just mess around with girls. At the moment I’m heartbroken. The reason I’m heartbroken is because I did not listen to my parents. I let the wrong guy into my heart. In the article Alexander Wagenaar states that “teen highway deaths immediately dropped by 15 to 20 percent the people who are advocating going down to 18 should acknowledge that they’re willing to risk an extra thousand deaths per year and double that number of injuries.” I think what he is saying is that if they change the law then they would be asking for more teens to die. I agree with that statement because I do not believe that teens should drink at such a young age. There are many parents out there that do allow their teens to drink and in my opinion that is not the right thing to do. If you do allow them, they will think they have the freedom to do what they want and could possibly end up doing something very dumb.Age has nothing to do with maturity you could be an old lady but have a childish mind some people they never mature they just stay that way but I think the reason some teens do not mature is due to not being able to experience the real world due to parents rules in the house but that is my opinion
