3D printing, you can make almost anything that comes to mind, a toy, a part for your car, prosthetic limbs, and/or organs. In the U.S. alone about 123,000 people are waiting for organ donations and only about 14,000 people in the U.S. are suitable for organ donation (Morber 6,7). A possible solution is bioprinting, bioprinting is the process of printing organic material by having cells form together to create skin, flesh, or organs. If the government funded bioprinting enough then people could have bioprinters producing organs and save so many more lives. There is also another problem, whenever we are able to produce something there are too many toxins in the bioprinted item for it to be used in any living thing. Another possible solution is, that practicing printing organs enough so that we can find a way to get the toxins out of the organs that were printed so that they can be used in humans. Many people in the U.S. need lifesaving organ transplants and by advancing 3D printing technology many …show more content…
A possible solution to this is to grant the researchers more money so that the researchers can experiment and find out how to remove the toxins. This solution helps the issue by getting the right funding for the bioprinters to become advanced enough to not have the toxins in the material. Or, the bioprinters would still print out the material with the toxins but we are able to remove it. Another solution is to get the community involved and try to help the researchers in the researcher's efforts to get a more perfect bioprinter. The community can help the researchers by giving the researchers support. And, giving the researchers ideas on what to do to improve the printers. Getting the community involved helps this situation because the more people helping means that their are more brains working together to get a great
