Three women are being credited for rescuing a woman from an alleged date rape.

Sonia Ulrich, Marla Saltzer and Monica Kenyon were enjoying happy hour at a fine restaurant in Santa Monica, California when Kenyon witnessed a man pouring a suspicious-looking substance in his date’s drink after she went to the bathroom.
“I was going on about something and saw Monica staring behind and making a funny face,” said Ulrich in a Facebook post that’s now gone viral. “That guy just put something in her drink,” said Kenyon.

Never share your drink with anyone.
Never drink from punch bowls or other common containers, which could potentially be tainted with drugs.
If someone offers to get you a drink from a bar or at a party, go together with the person to order your drink. Watch it being poured and carry it yourself.
Don't drink anything that tastes or smells odd. Certain date rape drugs have a salty taste.
Designate a nondrinking friend to keep a close eye on you.
If you realize you left your drink unattended, simply pour it out.
