The winter months in New York city affect more than the residents. Homeless animals in the big city are being tortured by the cold winter months. Usually, animal shelters would be able to accommodate these animals but unfortunately with a limit amount of resources and space, these animals are doomed to suffer on the cold streets of New York.
New City attorney, Ross Abelow hopes to alleviate some of the suffering that homeless animals witness through the winter months with the help of Go Fund Me. Abelow has launched a Go Fund Me account in attempts to raise $5000. The $5000 will be used to provide resources to the animal shelters. With this amount of money, the homeless shelter will be able to provide food, blankets, medical care and other needed services to these homeless animals.…show more content… These particular animals die a excruciating deaths. The freezing cold temperatures of New York can cause the animals to develop frostbite. In addition to freezing on the death on the streets, homeless animals can die due to starvation or other sicknesses.
Abelow hopes, that the launching of this Go Fund Me account will help bring awareness to this situation and provide an opportunity for people to help out. With a goal of $5000 this campaign can help to save a lot of homeless animals. Animals will be rescued from off of the freezing streets and given shelter, medical care, and even food to eat. This campaign will help to reduce the suffering that these poor animals witness on the streets everyday.
