Cutting it off at the source would mean that it would also be cheaper to buy the products because there would be less sugar involved in the process making it so the extra sugar that is saved by not using it in this drink could go to something else, like ice cream to make the children happy! If the alternative is chosen, cutting off the sugar at its source, a legal serving size would have to be established for this ban to take place. For example, every soft drink sold in New York would have to have a serving size of 8 ounces. In later years that ban can be applied to foods also. Taking it a step further, which might be highly unlikely is controlling how much fat is allowed per serving.
