The government can even hack into any video camera and watch people wherever they are. This security that is supposed to make American citizens feel safe is actually causing civilians to fear the potential amount of power the government has over us. Anyone with knowledge in coding can easily take files and personal information from you through your phone or computer without you knowing. However, cameras are often used to help solve crime, so there is a difficult line between benefiting society and an invasion of privacy. Moreover, I do not think that our government’s survillence will ever lead us to become like Big Brother. Our American constitution, in which we follow so closely, doesn’t allow government to take that kind of control.
