Topic: Forest Fires
Members: Tyler Suarez
Class: 2nd Period
I. Introduction
A. Attention Getter: Homes, forest, habitats and communities burn down due to one person’s carless action of causing one of the largest fires in U.S history.
B. Relevance: This could all happen soon if we do not find a solution to the forest fires that scorch America thousands of times every year.
C. Credibility: Many state parks and colleges encourage us to stay cautious when we start a fire or even something as simple as throwing a cigarette out the window. Both of these could lead to devastating consequences.
D. Propositional Statement: Forest Fires remain a problem in the United States. Because habitat loss and property loss from forest fires, I propose that we, as …show more content…
III. Conclusion
A. Problem Summary: It is apparent that forest fires and the education of them remain a problem.
B. Solution Summary: It is also apparent that showing places such as Bastrop and properly education and enforcing stronger laws to prevent carelessness would help address this problem.
C. Memorable Closing: National Geographic states that every year 100,000 forest fires are started in the U.S alone burning up to 4-5 million acres and causing not only forest, buildings, and animals to die but even people.
D. Call to Action: So, please be cautious the next time you, your family, or your friends start a fire.
