In the United States, elderly abuse has been increasing rapidly. For instance, many of the elders abused take place at homes and nursing homes. The people that abused elders are often family members and those who does not like certain adults. The reasons that elders are being abused is due to the fact that their family is not financially stable, and they themselves are disabled.
