Specific purpose: to call the audience to act on the issue that is elephant abuse in circuses
Step 1: Call us to Attention
Attention: Elephants don’t you love them? There’s one elephant that I want to focus today. And her name is Nosey taken as a baby from her mother and subjected to being forced to perform dangerous tricks. Her trainer Hugo Liebel is known for having been cited nearly 200 times for the mistreatment of Nosey.
Thesis Statement: I don’t know about you, but I believe that Nosey, as well as all elephants, should be able to roam free.

Clearly, there is a problem finding sanctuaries for the animals.
Step 3: Give us the Solution
A. Luckily for is there’s an incredible non-profit called “Last Chance for Animals” (LCA) that has been dedicated to eradicating the misuse of animals across the states.
I. Founded in 1984 LCA’s goal is focused on exposing the misuse of animals in circuses. Such as the one that Nosey is in.
II. Run by Chris DeRose and multiple volunteers, LCA offers activists, and anyone interested in helping to expose the cruelty of circuses and all other animal rights issues.
III. Thus, the organization can operate on mainly volunteers and activists —with just a small donation going towards fighting peacefully
