In the beginning of the article “Two black men were arrested in a Philadelphia Starbucks for doing nothing”, the author gave an explanation of the event that had occurred. It was said that the staff of Starbucks had called the police due to the fact that two black men were waiting for a business associate to arrive without ordering anything. Claiming that Starbucks does “not allow non paying people from the public to come in and use the restroom”, the police came in and used the term “trespassing” to arrest these two men. People at the scene protested against Starbucks and the police, and a video was posted on the internet. Throughout the article, two video clips were also shown to the audience. In the video, it can be seen that a white man was protesting to the police, questioning the arrest, while the two black man sat calmly without protest. In the second video, which was an extended version of the first, Andrew Yaffe, a white man who was the person that the two arrested gentleman was waiting for, appeared in the picture, protesting against the police. Yaffe later spoke to attorney Lauren Wimmer about the incident, and both agree to the fact that the arrest was based upon racial discrimination since no signs of crime was committed by the two innocent gentlemen that was
