Have you ever had that one special place that without it your life wouldn't be complete? Like, without it nothing would make sense? Well, that's kind of like what Phoebe’s house is. It's the important setting that puts the story together. In the novel Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech, Phoebe's house is an important setting to the plot because Sal is reminded of many similarities between Phoebe's life and her life, Phoebe's mom leaves notes as to why she left there, and everything is made clear at the end-ish of the book all at Phoebe's house, like for example who the lunatic really is.
