She looks longingly through the window of the bus. She can see the beauty in everything from trees to houses to even the bus itself. So many pictures, untaken. She can see them all in her head. She has complete control over the camera. Nobody can tell her what to do with it, she can choose to take photos of anything she pleases. She doesn’t remember when photography was introduced into her life, but when she was younger, her target was usually her cats. She would follow them everywhere, waiting for the perfect moment to press the shutter. Not all of her pictures came out satisfactorily. In fact, many of them would come out blurry. In her determination, she would simply delete the bad photos and take more to replace them, trying to perfect the photo she saw in her head. She would feel a sense of pride and satisfaction when she took a great picture. Her confidence in her photography skills were confirmed when she was about twelve years old- she won Honorable Mention in a photography contest, for one of her cat pictures, of course. She thinks this is around the time her passion for photography grew into the pulling desire to know more about the art. So in high school, she started taking photography classes. She loved learning about the mechanics of the camera, the techniques in Photoshop and the darkroom, and the equipment used to make her photos even stronger. The art teachers quickly became familiar with her passion for the arts, whether it was photography, drawing, ceramics, or creative writing and her dedication to each piece she
