The use of momentum in curling goes back to its origin day. The earliest sight of this is in Scotland 1511. Even though a whopping 506 years have passed by the sport of curling has changed in many ways, however, the physics of the sport hasn't changed. The sport of curling consists of 3 components. The first is the rotation. The player releases the rock with a slow rotation either clockwise or counter-clockwise, resulting the rock to curl to the leading edge. The second is pebbles. If the rock would be pushed on raw ice the friction between the rock and ice will slow down the rock, therefore people use something called pebbles. Pebbles are thrown on the ice then cut on top so the surface would be frictionless. This takes us to our next point,
