The soloist for this song, Christine Smit, had a bright and warm tone. Her voice was almost a perfect match for this upbeat song. The dancing was a little more heavy with this song but still never took away from the sound. The groups sound and partnered dancing matched almost perfectly with their smiling faces and even the soloist enjoyed some choreography as well. The a cappella world is a world that many people don't usually explore, and just became popular with recent movies. Even then the movies aren't very realist. I believe is a group focused more on a cappella songs it kind of forces the singers to listen more and be pushed more to blend with others. It isn’t about just one person, its about the whole group. Without one part or the beat boxer the song would either have no beat or just feel empty. Every part depends on the other and its a beautiful thing chorally. Pitch Slapped is an amazing group who has that figured out and even more. Im sure with a lot of hard work and dreadfully long practices, they were able to be the amazing group that took first place for the ICCA 2014
