Though rarely a serious act of plagiarism is apprehended, the awareness from the student bodies and teachers have not stalled the plethora of simplistic examples. Two common examples in the Spencer High School are the copying of homework and the sharing of test answers with others before the test is taken. Although seemingly harmless, significant issues now arise. The ideas used are now not from the tester, but the student who took the test previously, allowing unprepared and incapable students to float through with succor from fellow classmates. A more prevalent and socially acceptable form of plagiarism appears in the practice of copying homework.
