Plastic bags are known to be a problem in many cities and across the globe. Many suggestions have been brought up to help decrease the use of plastic bags. That being said, what solution would be best for our society? I agree with Theo Jones, and here's why.
One solution that the first author brought up was the use of reusable bags. In paragraph 3 they stated "A variety of these bags are sold at most supermarket checkout stands". Which is true, but every citizen might not be able to buy multiple bags on top of the items they are already purchasing. They also state in paragraph 5 "...which showed reusable bags to have unacceptable levels of bacteria growth and mould". Which I can respond to with almost the same answer: every citizen might
