The school that I am interning at is in the country side. From what it would look like a scene from children's book, it sits perfectly between Strawberry fields. For an example she adjusted the schedule during my visit to include a one on one conference with the students to discuss their progress, so she managed her classroom in a proactive way by putting the children into groups and discuss their Marshmallow Science project.
I was able to eat lunch with my students, help them with math, had them read for me and even went to Physical Education and was able to cheer on for my kids. At the end of the day my CT and I sat down and discussed who were her emergent readers and how some have successfully completed the program. We talked about how excited she was to be using I-Ready and how it designs lessons for each individual child. She explained that she just wants to get them to read and that she hopes that while I am there I can help her with that. She wants them to think reading is fun and she believes that I can help her accomplish
