Katie Cork, Chief Editor Anyone who is planning to come to Friar John for confession on Tuesday will have to find another priest. The Friar will be gone on business. He wishes anyone to apologize if his absence has disrupted their plans for the day. Also, He suggested going to Friar Tuck’s cell as an alternative.
When asked where he was going the friar gave a very discreet answer. His unexplained absence is just another strange report about the monastery this week. Friar Lawrence has been unavailable for confession at various points the past day. Different sources have also claimed that Friar Lawrence has been acting tense and uneasy. These claim are not confirmed by the The Verona Post.
If these reports do have substance, it could spell doom for the monastery. The friars are still under investigation for the narcotic herbal incident of 1593. Another negative report may be the tipping point in the public’s view, which as been favorable up till now. Only time will tell.
