INTRODUCTION
Air pollution is the most significant problem affecting the majority of people in my community and Liberia in general. Recent reports indicate that three thousand citizens were killed from environmental related disease-air borne and my community in Monrovia has not been spared from these calamities. The earlier we identify the causes of air pollution, the more effective and efficient we can tackle the problem.

While this practice is harmful to the environment, these companies further deposit industrial waste in the open space; therefore, exposing the atmosphere to a massive pollution (Tulay, 2015). Another possible cause of air pollution in Liberia is the solid fuel combustion; that is the burning of woods, coal, and charcoal for the purpose of generating energy. Apparently, due to the level of poverty in Liberia, citizens in communities who cannot afford the luxury of modern cooking gas resolve to charcoal, wood, and coal as a substitute. They emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere; thereby infecting the health of citizens. Unfortunately, chronic diseases like tuberculosis, Asthma, and reduce lung infections are common in my community. Compare to other communities, especially communities that host multinational companies, they are worse off because their land, rivers, and air are not left out of the pollution. For example, Harbel community was reportedly degraded by Firestone Rubber Company. The company deposited industrial toxic chemicals in the Community River and burn a reasonable quantity of toxic chemicals in the process. This action led to the death of some citizens in the community (IRIN, 2009). According to my findings, my community is doing everything it can to reduce the level of air pollution but other communities are in deplorable conditions and are demanding that the government enact enforceable environmental laws to curb air pollutions in the long
