Neolin believed the relationship between native Americans and the British needed to come to an end and complete separation. The presence of non-natives caused the Native Americans to abandon their cultural, ritual ways of life. Neolin expressed that he wanted the Native Americans to push themselves away from European trade, and more specifically the British. He wanted the natives to recite back to how life was before, the British trade and diseases had arisen.
