Differentiate between habitat and niche:
A habitat is just a location where the organism(s) are located. The niche is just a description of where the organism is located and what it does in the community to serve its purpose.
The Difference of Primary and Secondary Succession:
Primary Succession is the progress of growth of a newly developed habitat, while secondary succession is the redevelopment of habits that have once been disturbed by major trauma rendering them destroyed.

The whale depends on the seal for its survival in the ocean as its main source of food. If their was a decrease in the whale population, the seals would reproduce too much because they wouldn't be targeted by the whales and this in return would throw off the balance of the ocean and species.
Question #3:
Seals as we know it spend most of their time on the surfaces and ice. Without the ice, the seals would be spending more time in the ocean. This would cause them to be targeted more by the killer whales, and the killer whale population would begin to boom. Killer whales would be able to reproduce more than usual, but this positive event could turn very badly for the whales. As the whales eat more and more of the seals, the seal population will begin to decline. As the seal population declines, there is less food available for the whales. When the population of seals is extinct, the whales would die off.
Question #4:
Introducing a new source of food and prey to the whales would decrease the numbers of seals being eaten and giving the seals more opportunities to reproduce with a little bit more ease since a prey is available for the whales to target for
