Courage and pain, two emotions that stand out when looking at this amazing image captured during the Vietnam War, in 1966. The main focus of the picture is one soldier who seems to be aiding the other injured soldiers on the ground. Courage is represented through him as we see him with a bloody bandage over his head and eye, yet still he is helping out the other soldiers. In the far background we see a soldier laying down on the ground and looking towards the camera with eyes that show pain. He is most likely injured as well and waiting to be helped.
