Chapter five showed me how Indians were mistreated and also showed me the Indians first victory. In 1865, during their summer medicine ceremonies, they began hearing "rumors of soldiers coming at them from four directions"(Brown 104). They paid no attention to Little Horse's report, that he saw the soldiers coming towards them. I find it ridiculous that they didn't listen to Little horse's report, what would he get from lying about such serious matter?
