Introduction
Client requires a prescription to improve flexibility. Client is an average, non-athletic adult. A warm up and flexibility activity will allow the client to perform basic daily activities decreasing the risk in injury. Client will begin with a warm up activity followed by stretches that allow client to develop flexibility and will be beneficial to clients every day routines. Prescription will focus on static flexibility rather than dynamic as client is non-athletic and performs basic daily routines needing simple movements. “Flexibility is the range of motion possible around a specific joint or series of articulations. Flexibility is specific to a given joint or movement. A person may not be able to function normally if a joint lacks normal movement. The ability to move a joint through an adequate range of movement is important for daily activities in general as well a sports performance.” (n.d.). Intensity: To a position of mild discomfort
Type: Warm up Static Stretches
Time/Duration: Hold stretch for 10 seconds working up to 30 seconds

Warm Up
30secs x 2 running in place jumping jacks

Arm rotations (small rotations going forward, back word/full circles going forward, Backward)
Shoulder rolls (forward and backward)
Neck rolls (left to right, right to left)
Hip rolls (left to right, right to left)
Knee roll (left to right, right to left)
Leg swings (left to right, right to left)

Hamstring Stretch
Calf Stretch
Chest Stretch
