A situation of satiation happens following the ineffectiveness of a reinforcer. In such a situation, the learner cooperates and gives maximum attention to the task at hand, but this is likely to decrease. As a result, a teacher can employ various ways to reduce a situation of satiation including:
1) Let a learner to choose an own reinforcer which can also take the form of offering some options from which one is chosen. Such a strategy can go well with motivation as well as in preventing satiation.

3) Changing the delivery schedule of reinforcers. There is the expectation that reinforcement will be given at specific instances such as after giving the right response. However, this can have its drawbacks as learners may not try harder to achieve more once they have been rewarded and therefore the need to delay the reinforcement as a way of increasing the performance levels to get the postponed reinforcer.
Example: In such cases, I vary my motivating techniques to improve the learners' performance as they always strive harder. The reinforcers are used sparingly for better performance or completion of a given task such as reading or narrating a story successfully.

The learners ending the day in the red zone get a call home with the added risk of losing out on the computer privileges. I opinion, I believe the level system is good in the implementation of appropriate classroom conduct as well as acting as a good visual representation for the entire class on how best one can be doing in the day. I am also of the opinion that through the level system a learner since every day will always strive to be good as no one would like to be stuck in a lower zone.
