Valerie, this an interesting subject since I am from Orlando, Florida and lived there when the park first opened. Their system then was paper tickets, and use of turn styles as the ticket was taken. At that time, price discrimination was not feasible for several reasons.

Although other attractions have appeared over the years, Disney still stands out for family vacations, as you mentioned. They started as a company with few competitors and remain so today, as you identified, and so meet one of the criteria for a business that can use price discrimination (Sexton, 2013). As far as the elastic demand, there are many people that would not allow almost any price change to alter their plans to visit a park, and therefore considered inelastic.
