Did you know that in Medieval Times Marrages the parents choose who the men marry. Parents in the Medieval Times Marrages did choose who the men would marry and they would arrange the marrage. The diffrences and simularities between the Princess Bride and the Medieval Times Marrages are what I will be compairing and contrasting.
InCompairison the Princess Bride and Medieval Times weddings are the same because women didnt get to choose who they were going to marry.The author of the Medieval Times story says “In the Medieval Timeswomen didnt get to choose as to who they would marry”.This evidence supports my reason because women most of the time didnt even know the man before they got married.In the Princess Bride the author states that on page 90 Prince Humperdink says “I am your prince and you will marry me”. Buttercup whispered “I am your servant and I refuse”.My evidence supports my reason because the Princess Bride book and Medieval Times story do have some things in common.
