Narrator starts in his cell
The locks on all the cages slide open on their own
Chaos as all the prisoners escape and try to get to the exit- narrator included
As he runs corridors are longer than they should be- endless, walls appear places they shouldn’t (didn’t notice at first from panic and adrenaline)
High- pitched little girl giggles echo around the place
Looking closer at the walls he sees messages on them
Can’t find way to exit, can’t find way back
Seems like he’s lost forever - maybe like goes on 3 days
Opens his eyes and is in his cell with the lock latched
Thinks was dream until he sits up, feels stubble where there wasn’t before and a message on his prison wall

Messages give explanation

Makes long strides trying to make his way
