In “Private Language, Public Language” Rodriguez discusses the difficulties he faced while growing up. Rodriguez also talks about how hard it was for him to communicate in English. He explained saying that he would feel more at home while speaking in Spanish rather than English. While speaking in English he felt more aware of others.
