Keeping accountability of an offender is highly important. The probation meet with the offender on several different occasion to monitor the offender well-being and making sure that the offender stay out of trouble, monitoring behavior. Also, probation officers monitor offender on their jobs. While working with offenders who have made a bad decision or poor judgement, you as a probation officer play a very positive role model to offenders. It really means a lot that a offender knows there is someone willing to help them get back on the correct path to success. By finding offenders a home also play a major road to success.
