Project Objective
The goal for the project is to plan, budget, schedule, control, document, and manage the removal of existing kitchen, remodeling, construction and installation of a custom kitchen to be completed within eight weeks at cost not to exceed $95,000. New kitchen plans have been created by DGF Kitchen Designer and approved by customer and interior designer. Customer has met with her interior designer and they have made final selection of all the necessary components such as paint, fixtures, flooring, cabinetry, countertop and appliances. All the necessary state and county building regulations and permits have been approved. (Note: budget of $95,000 covers cost of all materials listed above as well as construction and installation cost.
Period of Performance
The Services listed under scope of work shall commence on June 3, 2013, and shall continue through September 2, 2013.
Milestones
1. Permits approved – May 13th 2. Demolition commencement – June 3rd 3. Rough in electrical – June 24th 4. Rough in plumbing – June 27th 5. Rough in inspections passed – July 8th 6. Drywall in. – July 19th 7. Radiant flooring – July 26th 8. Wood Flooring – July 31st 9. Cabinet Installation – August 2nd 10. Countertop Installation – August 23rd 11. Appliance Installation – August 28th 12. Plumbing and Electrical Final Installation – August 28th 13. Final Inspection – August 30th 14. Customer Approval Project is complete – Sept 2nd
Scope of Work
DGF Kitchen & Bath contractor and cabinet installers shall provide the Services and Deliverable(s) as follows: * Removal and disposal of existing cabinets, flooring, backsplash and appliances. * Removal of wall between kitchen and family room as per approved plan. * Upgrading electrical to include GFI, under cabinet lights, six high hats and electrical line for a new ice maker being installed. * Moving water and plumbing to follow new floor plan and add new water and plumbing supply for new island as well as new water line for new ice maker. * Ventilation work for new professional hood. * Installation of radiant heat under new flooring. * Installation of hardwood floors. * Painting of kitchen and family room walls, ceiling and trim. * Installation of custom cabinets and finish work. * Oversee installation of custom Quartz Countertop fabricated by countertop specialist. * Installation of appliances. * General clean up. * Final walk through with customer. * Close all permits. * Approve the project completed by customer.
