In Miriam Schapiro’s “The Education of Women as Artists: Project Womanhouse” she discusses the creation of Project Womanhouse from how it was conceived to its execution. Schapiro and well as Judy Chicago guided young female artists in the creation of Project Womanhouse Schapiro first discusses the class meetings at the California Institute of the Arts to brainstorm the project and what it symbolized.
