In the final chapter of anthem, Prometheus writes that he now understands why the best in him had been his sins and his transgressions; and why he had never felt guilt in his sins. Prometheus came to understand that he was his own person and he deserved to be treated as one. Prometheus’ society said that the “best in him” was sinful because they wanted everyone to be equal as one. When Prometheus got away from his society he found out his worth, and figured out he was capable of so much more.
