He says, “If the Bayer purchase of Monsanto becomes reality, it’s another indicator that digital agriculture is a game changer similar to what transgenic crops were 20 years ago.” By providing this example, Gullickson helps further explain how going digital will help ag, because transgenic crops were not grown by everyone at first, and are still protested by some people, however without transgenic crops our total production of crops would be much less today.
