If the scientist happens to present false information in court it could lead to an innocent person getting convicted of the charge. A guilty person could get freed if there isn’t enough evidence to say they committed the crime. Interviewers will start to question the people or procedures being done in the lab. One little mistake with evidence could mess up a person’s life. Having lack of evidence isn’t the only problem a scientist goes through. Second, another problem would be having lack of manpower. People could have problems with knowledge. If a person seeking a job in this field don’t have the medical degree then they won’t get hired meaning less weight in the field. Some people could have not met the educational requirements. Not everyone takes the time to get a bachelor’s degree or associate degree.
Forensics also would have problems with having no skills to support the manpower. The career has many different areas. A person may not want to look at dead bodies but that might be the field that’s lacking people. People may not have them certain skills for that position. If no one has skills at all then of course the company wouldn’t want somebody who has no idea how to do that certain job. There is also one more issue for forensics scientists.
Third, forensic science is a fragmented career. Dealing with the local area scientists would have customers in smaller cities that wouldn’t know the causes of death of the victim. It would take much longer to catch the suspect who committed the crime. Customers want the laboratory to
