In the data made by The Washington Post, President Trump would need to convince 13 Democratic Senators to join his cause along with 44 Democratic representatives. He would need this amount of Representatives and Senators to get two-thirds or a fifth of the House’s approval needed on both sides of Capitol Hill. Among these Democratic Senators is Bernie Sanders, who are less likely to join his cause.
