Prosthetics is the replacement of lost or irreversibly damaged body parts with artificial substitutes called prostheses. Currently, prosthetic reached a new level. Now medicine can put the prosthesis on the tooth and even joints. The prosthesis is an important step in the process of social and labor rehabilitation of a man who has lost a limb. But it is still quite a delicate issue. Artificial limbs caused mixed feelings in most people. Today people with disabilities with amputated limbs regularly win gold medals at the Paralympic games and computer technologies allow prosthetic limbs to receive signals from the brain. The main problem currently existing prostheses it is the inflexibility and lack of communication with the rest body. Prostheses that replace the active parts of the body are the only substitute. They are not better than the lost legs or arms and they are not even the same functionality, so they are much worse. This situation has been unchanged for centuries until it has appeared biomechatronics. Until the late twentieth century, the prosthesis was attached to the human body only mechanically. More recently, began to develop the new trend in orthopedics, which is quite called biomechatronics. It is merger robotics with the human nervous system. It should be noted that the already developed artificial limbs that move just like the real leg or arm. Very soon the wealthy people can afford high-tech prosthetic legs, which can replace the most amputated limb. The main advantage of them is that they are managed directly by the brain. This is a huge breakthrough, which can improve the quality of life of many people with
