8- It is often said addiction is a disease and its symptoms can include drinking, smoking, drugs, stealing, sex, etc. What emotions do you feel when you observe patients struggling with addiction?
I felt sorry and proud of those people. I felt sorry because every one of those addictive people had the lousy life experience or triggers led him/her to be addicted. Proud because they tried their best to be clean and sober of that bad habit make their life miserable. I like to interact with them as a human being, not as an observer.
