Public School Vs Online School

Throughout my life being in a public school gave me anxiety. Since I started online school, I have been able to communicate with my teachers and not get overwhelmed. Online school consists of waking up Monday through Friday and logging in by 10 in the morning. I have assigned homework for each class, I can move at my own pace and decide how much I want to do for each class. Online school has advantages such as doing your work at your own pace, being comfortable learning at home, and graduating early.

First, being able to do your homework at your own pace is an advantage and you can do some work for a class Monday and Tuesday. Then switch over to another class to get work done for that as well. In classrooms, you have a due date and you feel stressed out over the assignments due every week or everyday. In an online classroom, you can decide what you want to do and how long you want to. An example would be if you had a part time job, you can log in and go to work. You can come back and do your homework as late as you want. Overall, being able to do your work at your own pace has benefits to work around a strict schedule.

In classrooms, it is loud with other students and it can be hard to concentrate on your work. You can play music while you do homework and be more comfortable doing your homework. Classrooms also can not be a good setting due to students being distracting or bothering you. People like to work alone and with other students in their space, they will not be able to get their work done. Being at home and in a setting that you know can reduce stress and benefit how a student
