We encourage this throughout the day in the setting. There was an indecent where child A was running and accidentally ran into another child causing child b to fall over I reacted by approaching the children and asked them both to sit on the seats I brought over. I made sure child B was ok and noticed he had a red mark on his forehead so I informed another practitioner and they took the child and applied a ice pack onto their head. I told child B that it made me very sad to see that they were running even when they knew the rules. I asked child B if they thought that was a good choice to make when they where running. He replied that it was a bad choice and he was sorry. I brought him over to the injured child and comforted her by asking if she was ok and then asked him what he could say because I pointed out that he was very upset to the child and he replied with a sorry this helped support child B in understanding other peoples feelings I then asked what he should do from now so it doesn’t happen again and he replied saying he would use walking feet because it was safer it .
